Dr. Desman was born in Coral Gables, Florida and moved to Palm City when he was 5 years old. After attending Martin County High school, he graduated with Honors from the University of Miami. He then traveled north to continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Finally, he completed his orthodontic training at The Ohio State University and became certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. D worked as an associate orthodontist for multiple years in the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg areas. He is a member of various organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Florida Association of Orthodontists, among others. This helps him stay informed with the latest technologies and methods for treatment.
Outside of his career, he has a wonderful wife, Molly, whom he met during his first year of dental school. They have been married for five years and she works as a general dentist. Together, they enjoy watching sports, cooking, and traveling. They also love to spend time with friends and family. Some of Dr. D’s personal hobbies include playing golf, attending Formula 1 races, and exercising on the spin bike.
